While working during Ramadan is rewarding, there are obstacles as well. During this period, we frequently feel exhausted or less energetic.
But don’t worry any longer! Here are 6 tips to help you stay motivated during the holy month:
- Establish commitment
Will yourself work energetically and enthusiastically. Ramadan may present us with more difficulties because of our religious obligations, such as practicing self-control over our feelings and thoughts, but you must be motivated if you want it to work. The following tips will be simple to follow once you’ve made up your mind about being determined. - Eat sufficiently Sohour meals
You don’t have to overeat while you are recharging your energy during sohour and the ending of fast, keep that in mind. Instead, consume a reasonable amount of sohour food because overeating will make you feel tired and sleepy. Pick balanced meals that include carbs, protein, and fiber. Fiber-rich foods keep you fuller for longer. Eat more fruits and vegetables as well. - Modify your bedtime
You need to set up two sleep schedules: the first is a night plan. If you have a habit to sleep in late, you should break the practice. Try to go to bed early because you will need to get up earlier than usual during Ramadan. The second period follows early prayer and Sohour. Considering that you might feel tired afterward, it might be best if you stop napping. It is preferable to keep up with your workout routine or other energizing tasks. You can leave right away if you must be in the office from seven until nine in the morning. - Engage in other activities while at work to remain motivated
Use your lunch break to engage in refreshing and relaxing activities like exercise, a brief workplace walks, or occasionally chit-chatting with coworkers. You can also take a 20–30-minute power snooze during your lunch break. You’ll feel refreshed and prepared to resume work after engaging in these activities. - Prevent caffeine
Caffeine may make us feel alert on a typical day, particularly if we are feeling sleepy. Caffeine, however, should not be consumed during sohour or when eating iftar during the fasting month because it may cause stomach pain and make you feel sick. - Look after your health.
Get to know your body because it is yours. Avoid unhealthy foods, useless activities, and similar things. If you are healthy, you can overcome any obstacles and function at your best.
